I would like to take this opportunity to thank my patients and my colleagues for their many years of support, trust, and loyalty.
As of September 1, 2026, I have concluded my clinical practice at the Artemis Augenklinik am Neumarkt. My work now focuses on research, teaching, and development in ophthalmology—drawing on over 250 scientific publications and more than three decades of experience in this field.
Another key focus is advising and training private practice physicians who wish to expand their range of treatments to include eye surgery. This work is grounded in my more than 30 years of experience as an eye surgeon and as the founder of several eye surgery centers and medical care centers (MVZ). In addition, I assist ophthalmologists with the process of selling their practices and preparing for retirement.
